Layers of the Earth
Thanks to plate tectonics, and volcanoes, and what not, the outer layer of the Earth, the crust, gets all the attention! And so, here is a little diagram to show you, that the mantle, and core, are just as cool(ha, not really, because its piping hot magma and solid iron!) There are three layers: the cold lithosphere, or crust, a hot convecting ,mantle, and a dense, solid iron core! There are usually inner and outer layers for the mantle and core.
